Being an Online Tutor with Success Academies

  • We will begin offering tuition sessions to students from September 2023

  • All tutors working with Success Academies will be expected to sign a contract which covers the following points of agreement:  

  • All tutors agree that they will be paid as a contractor and as such will be responsible for their own tax affairs - tutors will be paid on a session by session basis​​ as 'self-employed personnel'

  • If a session does not run, no payment will be made for that session. 

  • Tutors will attend for an online training sessions if required

  • Tutors will conduct themselves in accordance with Success Academies policies (sent together with contract)​

  • All tutors require at least 1 year of experience of working within an educational setting - or hold a relevant TEFL qualification (for teaching English as an additional language only).

  • All tutors are expected to hold an up to date DBS certificate. 

Online Teaching

Our Tutor Recruitment Process:

Your application -> We take references -> Introductory welcome and training (including QA session)

-> one to one meeting -> ID checks and contract signing
