Meet the Success Academies Team

Emlyn Hall, Director

Emlyn started teaching Science in 1997. He has worked in a wide range of different schools in both the state and independent sector. He has over 13 years of experience working as a senior school leader, and has a wealth of experience in all areas of education.
Aside from teaching, Emlyn is a successful author, having written 3 fiction books. The most popular of which, Diary of a Teenage Murderer, is currently being developed as a TV series.
Emlyn's decision to start up Success Academies was brought about by the increasing gaps in education and the growing need for a sustainable and fair Homeschooling solution.
He believes that all children have the right to a high quality education.

“Success Academies provided my daughter with GCSE combined Science. This could have been a real struggle as it was content that would have been over 2 years if in school but it was managed in less than a year with 3 hourly sessions a week.
My daughter has ADHD and social anxiety and has been out of school for all of year 11.
Success Academies were able to secure a fantastic learning experience each session, gaining my daughter’s trust and confidence ( even with my daughter preferring to have the camera off)
As a parent I felt completely confident and satisfied that my daughter was receiving all the teaching she required, in a manner that she felt able to ask answer and ask questions without fear of being wrong.
I have had excellent email communication each week with Success Academies with feedback.
I would throughly recommend this services."

Success Academies is a Carbon Neutral Company

We pride ourselves at being an ethical company.  We exist to support families and schools to empower young people to be the best possible versions of themselves.

We are also absolutely determined that remains as environmentally friendly as possible.

We have calculated that for each full time member of staff at Success Academies we emit 292.5kgCO₂ per year.

We plant trees to offset our carbon footprint.  A typical tree will absorb 40kgCO₂ per year, so we plant 8 per full time member of staff, yielding 320kgCO₂.  This ensures that we always remove more carbon than we contribute.

To achieve this aim, we work with 'Trees For Cities'

Trees for Cities are the only UK charity working at a national and international scale to improve lives by planting trees in cities.

They get stuck in with local communities to cultivate lasting change in their neighbourhoods – whether it’s revitalising forgotten spaces, creating healthier environments or getting people excited about growing, foraging and eating healthy food.
